13 year old fashion prodigy
I know that I'm probably way late in finding out about this girl, but I think that it's great to see somebody so little getting so involved in finding and blogging about beautiful things.

And about a dress that she saw at a show:
"Back in my second year of preschool, when we got [my jack russel terrier], I knew, somehow, because I am psychic, that many years later, Miuccia Prada would literally duplicate my dog onto prints and send them out on the Miu Miu runway. And I am basically Matilda. Or at the very least, Raven Baxter."
Apparently she's getting backlash from the syndicated press because she's gotten front row seats at a few highly attended fashion shows during fashion week. All I have to say to that is, you were stuffing your bras at her age, bitter-manhattan-fashionistas-who-pick-on-children. So please, throw out your pens and shut your purses.

Winter/Summer flip flop
Oof, transitioning!
It's not that easy to switch between seasons, as my brother and I are finding out on opposite ends of the northern and southern hemispheres. Every part of my body that isn't controlled by rational thought is crying out indignantly at being forced to shrivel up like a snail in a salt mine at the sudden drop in temperature. Meanwhile, he's come down with some sort of allergic reaction to the pollen and hasn't been able to go out in the sun for three days. But then, what's the point of crossing the globe if you're not going to reap in a little karma for trying to cheat the weather?
Anyway, now that I'm back in the real world, let's get back to where we left off.
